Funded Childcare for Working Families

Application and re-confirmation

Don’t forget if you have a 2, 3 or 4 year old child the deadline for applying for the extended Early Years Education funding for working families is the 31 March, for your child to take up a childcare place from April.

If your child is already accessing their early years education extended entitlement make sure you re-confirm your details with HMRC before the 31 March so that your child can continue to have these funded hours.

The same applies if you have a Childcare account – you must re-confirm your details every 3 months to ensure that you receive the Government top up.

Further details can be found on Best Start in Life parent hub.
