Hampshire County Council has partnered with the ‘Togetherness NHS’ (formally called the Solihull Approach) – a recognised resource for families designed by psychologists and professionals – to fund the courses, which are tailored to different ages and stages of a child’s development, from pregnancy to teen years and beyond. Through a series of interactive sessions, the Togetherness NHS courses provide advice and practical tips aimed at anyone caring for a child or young person, including parents, guardians, foster carers and grandparents.

Visit the County Council’s Solihull Approach webpages for more information and details of how to register for free, unlimited access to the courses.

All available online, and able to be completed whenever is convenient, the courses cover a broad range of topics including building positive relationships and communication; managing emotions and supporting well-being; and developing strategies for problem-solving and conflict resolution. There are also valuable tools for grandparents looking to support their families, and for teens who want to find out more about themselves, their developing brains, how to look after their mental health and their relationships.

They also have a YouTube channel with lots of interesting and helpful videos which you can find here.
