The Connect4communities - Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme provides support to families whose children are eligible for benefit-related free school meals (FSM), across the county throughout the Easter, summer and winter school holidays. Other children and families may also be eligible to access this programme.
Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF)
Summer 2026 HAF schemes will be available to view and book from Monday 22 June 2026
These fully funded fun and educational activity sessions are to support low-income families. Children and young people eligible for benefit-related free school meals (FSM) can register, book and attend sessions for free.
We anticipate running a new booking system for summer that will not require the previously issued HAF booking codes. We will be confirming final arrangements for summer during the next half term of school, and well ahead of summer bookings going live
Step 1 - search for and book a place
To find an activity, select your district from one of the 10 tiles displayed below, and a list of local providers will be on view. For further detail on where these providers are delivering HAF sessions, press 'show results in map' to view the page in map view. Only the providers on the display page will be featured on the map.
Once you have found a HAF provider that you and your child find interesting, you can make your booking by selecting their listing and using the contact information or website details provided. We do not manage bookings on the behalf of our providers.
Step 2 – get ready and be sure to attend
Check the provider information for any items your child is requested to bring along. Please attend your booked session as an unattended session could have been used by another family who would have benefitted.
