Hampshire SENDIASS - independent advice and information
Hampshire SENDIASS provides free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their parents and carers.
Although Hampshire SENDIASS receives funding through Hampshire County Council, it operates independently. The Local Authority does not direct the day-to-day running of the service or the advice it provides. Hampshire County Council's only role in the service is to monitor how well the service delivers its contract and meets national SENDIASS standards.
Information and Advice Available to Everyone
Hampshire SENDIASS aims to help parents, carers and young people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand their rights, make informed decisions and advocate for themselves.
Most of what Hampshire SENDIASS offers is available to all Hampshire families of children and young people with SEND.
