Children's Therapy Service
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS foundation Trust Children's Therapy Service is a health service which supports children and young people 0-19 years old with a physical health need.
The best way to contact the service is to give them a call on 0300 300 2019.

By calling the helpline, you can get information about the service, refer your child and get general advice. After you call, a therapist aims to give you a call back within 24 working hours to talk about your child’s needs and how they might be able to help.
The service includes:
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Podiatry (South East Hampshire and Portsmouth only)
- Fatigue Service (through GP referrals)
Therapists most often work to provide parents, carers and school staff with strategies to support the child’s development rather than working directly with the child. This is because therapy is always more effective when done at a time and in a place where the child is comfortable and ready to engage.
