The Boaz Project

Description:
The Boaz Project was set up to help address the lack of facilities for people with learning disabilities once they have left full-time education, through activities such as gardening, crafts and vocations.

Its aim is to create an atmosphere of the work ethic for people who otherwise cannot gain employment. Its long-term desire is to be able to employ some of those who access its facilities.

Based on a farm site between Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester we cater to a wide range of adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities.  Supported by a team of wonderful volunteers we support people to engage in a wide range of work activities such as egg collection and production, crafts, cookery, woodwork, engineering, horticulture and more.  Hot freshly cooked lunches daily.

We offer FREE taster sessions.  We are actively recruiting VOLUNTEERS now.

Please note that charges may apply - contact Boaz for more information.
