Sunflower Dementia Café, Odiham

Description:
The Sunflower Café is a community project that provides support and activities to people in Odiham living with dementia. 

Free of charge refreshments are available and there is a range of popular games, puzzles and activities for attendees to take part in. Support comes from the volunteer helpers, who are all “Dementia Friends”, an Alzheimer’s Society initiative.

Time at a Memory Cafe or Dementia Cafe can allow the family member and carer, to chat with others, and break down the barriers of isolation. We aim to be caring and confidential to all, while dispelling myths and the stigma that can surround dementia and Alzheimer’s.
