Basingstoke NeighbourCare assists those in genuine need in the local community by providing support to maintain their independence. 

Providing a transport service to those who are unable to use other forms of public transport.  This includes transporting people to medical appointments and therapy sessions, providing trips to visit a loved one, an older persons club or shopping. 

• We also offer a befriending service for lonely and isolated members of the community, volunteers are carefully matched with clients who are in need of company, help with reading or form filling. We rely on our teams of volunteers to provide our services and it is the community spirit they possess which enables us to deliver a high quality service in a low key way.
• Our weekly community cafes and social groups provide a nice, warm, friendly and relaxed place for older people to get together over a cuppa and a slice of cake.
• Community Hub at the accessible Popley Fields Community centre - a welcoming space to connect, relax and enjoy great company. The community hub is a fantastic new opportunity for older adults and their carers to come together in a friendly, supportive environment. Held twice monthly, tea and coffee, friendly chats, activities such as bingo, quizzes and board games and a two course lunch. Booking is essential please call 01256 423855 to reserve your meal. IT advice and toenail cutting appointments.
• Handyman service, our professional, friendly, reliable and affordable handyperson service is for the over 60s living in Basingstoke.
• Gardening services providing maintenance tasks such as weeking, lawn cutting and pruning.
