Your feedback matters! We want to hear from you!
Help shape the future of children’s services and improve support for children in care and care leavers across Hampshire by submitting a challenge card.
Any child in care or care leaver can use a Challenge Card.
A Challenge Card is a simple way to tell us:
- Something that isn’t working
- Something that could be better
- Your idea or solution for change
Your voice matters, and we're here to listen.
If you'd like support to complete a Challenge Card or share your ideas, contact Nick Glover, our Voice and Empowerment Worker. Nick can help you find the best way to tell us what's working well and what could be improved.
We need you to help shape the future of children’s services and improve support for children in care and care leavers across Hampshire.
There are lots of interesting, informative, and fun ways to get involved for example the Hampshire Care Council which is a community of care-experienced young people helping shape Hampshire's services.
Who is Nick?

Hi, I'm Nick Glover and I work as a Voice Empowerment Worker supporting Hampshire’s children in care and care leavers.
I am a professionally qualified Youth and Community Worker and Learning and Skills Teacher with experience in youth services, local government, alternative education, and the voluntary sector. Throughout my career I have worked with organisations including Hampshire County Council, Surrey County Council, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Latitude Global Volunteering. I have led youth-focused projects and services, helping children, young people and young adults develop confidence, skills and opportunities for the future.
My role is all about making sure children, young people's and young adults views are heard and acted upon. I work with children in care and care leavers to help shape services, influence decisions and ensure their experiences and ideas help create positive change.
Why youth voice matters to me
Children, young people and young adults are the experts in their own lives. When we listen to their experiences, ideas and feedback, we can make services more relevant, effective and meaningful.
Youth voice matters because every young person deserves the opportunity to be heard and to know that their opinions can make a difference. I believe that involving young people in decisions that affect them leads to better outcomes, greater confidence and stronger communities.
