Children in Care and Care Leavers' Local Offer
This section brings together the support available for children in care and care leavers in Hampshire, helping you understand what help is available at every stage of your journey. Here you can find information about the people who support you, your plans for the future, and the services available for your education, health, housing, relationships and independence. This offer has been shaped by the experiences and feedback of young people, and we will continue to listen and improve it so it works for you.
Not sure what support you can get?
Answer a few quick questions to find out:
✅ What type of care leaver you are
✅ What support you are entitled to
✅ Which information applies to you
Care leaver status can change over time. This is because it is based on your circumstances and care history. If your situation changes, the category you fall into and the support you are entitled to may also change.
Support for adopted adults
As well as the support available through the Care Leavers Local Offer, adopted adults can access specialist advice and support through Adopt South. This includes help with accessing adoption records, birth information before adoption and intermediary services.
