Your Support as a Care Leaver
If you’ve been in care, you are entitled to support as you move into adulthood.
You might hear professionals use terms like “relevant” or “qualifying”. These are just legal words used to decide what support you can get — they do not define who you are.
You are more than a label
These terms are only used so services can make sure you get the right support.
This simple quiz can help you figure out which term fits you best
If you’re not sure what applies to you — or you feel unsure about what help you can get — you can speak to your Personal Adviser or contact the team. You do not have to figure this out on your own.
This page will help you understand what those terms mean and show you the support available to you, including help with housing, health, money, and your Personal Adviser.
