What support will I get as a qualifying care leaver?
If you are a qualifying care leaver, it means you were in care for a shorter period than some other care leavers when you were younger.
You may not receive the same level of financial support as some other care leavers, but you can still ask for help, advice and guidance. You do not have to manage everything on your own.
In Hampshire, qualifying care leavers can request support from a Personal Adviser (PA) until their 21st birthday, or longer if they are in education. A PA can provide information, advice, guidance and practical support to help you work towards your goals.
The support available will depend on your individual circumstances and needs.
In this section, you can find out more about the support that may be available and how to get in touch if you would like advice or assistance.
