Questions for Educational Settings, including childcare providers

A well‑written Local Offer helps families understand how your Early Years setting identifies, supports, and includes children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It is often the first place parents look when considering a setting, so the information needs to be clear, accessible, and genuinely reflective of your practice. This guidance is designed to help you create a Local Offer that is transparent, easy to navigate, and meaningful for families. By communicating your approach confidently and openly, you can reassure parents that their child will be welcomed, valued, and supported to thrive.
